Clearing my morning for this. With my recent bronchitis battle I think I can hang at the Floop. Only ridden there once for someone’s first ride on dirt years ago and am pretty confident that I can clear the climbs with half breathing capacity.

I’ll just promise to take the family to Disneyland Saturday afternoon!

 

Damn, I'm going to miss another one. I seriously wanted to be there for the Big Bear ride but after riding there on Wednesday and spending almost 6 hours on the drive up & back, I wasn't ready for that again...and it would have been worse on Saturday with all the Inland Valley peeps headed for the beach.

I actually would like to try the FLOOP at least one. I will say if nothing else it seems to have some variety but alas, I'll be in Maui and out at Molokini on the 17th. I'm sure this won't be the last run at the FLOOP anyway.

 

Sounds fun and is close. Might be enough to coax a reclusive old hooligan over to the other side of the hills.

 

If that is the gabe drop, I may be in! I just need to see how it ends...

I have a family function that day starting at 11am, and doing a short local ride with the Brother in law just before.
It's been years since I've done the Floop, I'd really like to have made this one.

@Mikie - I think that’s a result from when STR got screwed up.

 

I hope that bike in the picture was given a proper name, something like “Birth Control” or “Child Support Insurance.” Even “Ball Basher” or “Nut Cracker” would have been sufficient.

 

I used to salivate over these bikes at Supergo back in the day. I'd still love to have one with some modern geometry. That may be the one way I'd get on a hardtail again.

 

Oh no, of all weekends. We'll just go to the Jack-n-the-Box where Isa works instead. She'll take care of us.

WTF you all are nuts for following up the Big Bear ride with the Floop. Is this a test to prove its who you ride with not where you ride? Should everyone bring cruisers to prove its not what you ride either?
