It's easy, @mountaingirl sara. When you see it looking questionable ahead of you, a quick dismount and it's done. Don't feel obligated to be heroic way the hell out there. If you do feel obligated, do what I implore the weez: Get the F behind the seat, hang on, and think light and nimble!

If you’re interested I have these that I’m willing to donate to the cause, meaning they’re yours to keep for future rides. I purchased them 10 years ago, but have literally only used them once. Maybe technology has passed these by at this point, but they’re a serviceable and free option if you like.

 

You’re going to the “Shuttlefest” reservation which is an event in Oct, go to the regular reservations and 9/7 is open.

 

Not working for me... September is showing all blank. First date available is Oct 18???

 

You need to scroll down to the Sherman Pass shuttle, not the Shuttle Fest.

 

Just make sure the battery still holds a charge

Actually, now that I think of it....it would be a fun birthday ride.....however, I have plans for riding bikes AND horses on the 24th .
