I may have at least one maybe two backpacking permits for San Gorgonio. Overnighting right at the summit. For sunday July 2 my birthday.
It's a sunday but since the 4th will be on tuesday, I thought some people would take monday off. I am.

Bivy low, climb high?...bah!!!!! I can see you at the highest point in SoCal with two hot chicks, getting that el a little higher by the glow of your Whisperlite.

 

So, I guess only boneheads do it in one day and render their tired old bodies inoperable for two weeks.

mike, actually I'm going up Momyer trail, 13.4/6000'. Vivian was not long enough.

Most likely I 'll be on the roof of socal by myself. Which is good but I'll leave the bacon at home.

All of this fun is both interesting and desirable, but alas I am going to miss out on the bacon shenanigans. Have an awesome trip!
