Actually, since this will be my first ride on a new shock, I think I will spend it doing laps on the world's best suspension test trail Rock-It until I get it dialed in. I don't really want to hit "The Goods" with a questionable rear end!

Out - taking my boys to their first parade. Starting small (& local!) with the Laguna Niguel holiday parade

 

I've been surprisingly tinker-free for the past 15 rides or so. If I could get in a couple of runs on the thing before chasing you on 5-Oaks and Car Wreck, I would be there with you. The only way I could conceivably do that is to ride Rock-it before joining you. Start a little later, and I will do it. I could park at the top of cheater Cholla and do shock tuning runs from 7:30 to 8:15, then join you at MILF at 8:30. They won't tow, ticket or break into my car up on Hollyleaf, will they?

 

Is the parade in the morning?

 

Ya, 10am start time, which means a bit earlier to get everyone moving in that direction and walking and such.

 

I don't like to change start times, once posted. I could do a 5 Oaks and Lynx loop and take a 10 min break at the base of Cholla. That work? I wouldn't think they would ticket there...

 

What is MILF park?

 

Going to be out there tomorrow with a few buddies leaving from MILF at 8 as well if you see me on a black Bronson say hi made do a lap with you as well.

 

Canyon View Park on Canyon Vistas Drive in Aliso Viejo. I am not sure how it got its name. I rarely see any of its namesake there.

No derailment intended but I got to ask about "Milf" Park and how it got its name ( I can see a Can-O-Worms opening but my curiosity finally got the better of me).

Nothing special. Some folks thought there was an abundance of hot moms in that park, so called it MILF park. I have yet to see anything beyond the normal distribution in that park. I see more eye candy on the actual trails. Now Alta Laguna Park - that's more likely.

Green and black Tracer. We'll keep an eye out for you. Lots of good riders out here today. Hero dirt, foggy and drizzly. Did my shake down ride on Rock It at 7:15. Just met up with @shawndoh and @moto knight waiting at MILF park. No MILFs.
