    Where: Castaic Sports complex/Tapia Cyn.
    Ride Description or Details:
    I'm showing my buddy around Tapia this Saturday and obviously, anyone is welcome to come-out and join us. I don't know all of the goods back there but I can manage. Of course, if you're a local feel free to come out and show us your secret stash:)

    Note: This friend of mine is notorious for being late to rides, so I set the ride up for 8 AM fully expecting him to be there closer to 9 AM. PM me and we can figure out a good rendezvous time if you'd like to get a loop or two in while we wait.

    Meet Location: Castaic sports complex, front lot facing the street.

    What's the parking situation at the animal shelter anyway??? Anyone know?
    Skill Level: Intermediate
    Ride Pace: Social Cruise, Easy with Moments of Effort
    Type of Ride: Loop
    Rider Limit: None
    Anticipated Mileage: 15-30 Mi. depends mostly on time.
    Elevation Gain: minimal
    Ride Duration: 3-hs hrs. maybe 4.
    Previous Ride Reports: Plentiful.
    Possible Bail-Outs: To my knowledge you can head-out the way you came-in at any time.
    Facilities: ...At the sports complex, yes.
    Food/water suggestions: Always be prepared.

    No cuz if they rode it today they are probably still trying to push home their 27 lb bike that now weighs 300 lbs cuz of all the mud stuck to it and they will be too embarrassed to post it. Tapia really sucks for the first couple days after it rains, I tried it once.

    Half the people who rode yesterday say it has huge puddles and lots of stream crossings. The others say its ok and a lil wet in places. I'm guessing it'll be fine by Saturday. The wind is another matter...
