Want to donate to imtbtrails?
Will be ordering soon.. used the last pouch.. last Saturday..
Finally ordered me some and convinced my riding buds to try it out as we are competing in a 24 team relay race in a couple of weeks.
I am getting sick and I was honestly asking myself if Tailwind would help...
I am positive you want me to answer that!
Of course it will help with you getting sick. In fact, it prevents illness... It also could prevent world hunger, sea sickness, the measles, chicken pox, anxiety, depression, and an upset stomach.
Actually ask @mtnbikej what he does with Tailwind when he is actually sick...
Sounds like I can skip my next vaccination
I’ve done 2 longer rides over 2 hours that I used Tailwinds on and it worked great. One was a 30 mile race, hard effort for three hours, no cramps and I only had one gel. Got some of my buds to order some too. They seem to like it too.
Oh... Tailwind doubles as a vaccination... but I’m sure you knew I was gong to say that...
I might have to give that one a try.
Hmmm... It doesn't seem to be in stock at my local dealer. He must be slacking. @Mikie
I'm going to stock it.
I was waiting for feedback on it before I invested.
I'm just yanking your chain.
I will try some when you can get it...
Received my tailwind order this week! Got it fast too! The box was wrapped in brown paper which makes me think there must be something "dirty" about getting it. Like I ordered from a adult toy store or something.....that might explain the " next adventure" stamp on it..
Colorado Cola . Caffeinated tailwind, I must have 10 of the single serving packs. They just keep piling up 'cause I don't use them. Maybe break down and try one this weekend, or not.
I tried a caf'ed version once. Felt a little jittery and sweaty. I wouldn't count it out completely, but IMO it's hard to improve on Regular. I don't care for the spikes and dips of stimulants on long projects. Regular just pushes the wall out a little bit – nice and evenly. It really is a food substitute as much as hydration. A super useful product if you're one of those who can't force down food mid-epic. I use it just on longer stuff, > 8 hours.
Or... IMTBKool-aid. Best placebo going, yo.
"Colorado Cola"??? I can't imagine.
I missed the juiced part of it. Hmmmmm.

Oh I don't think there is a mean bone in your body.
I had just placed a big order and they popped it on the order form right after! Next order!
Gee! Maybe even Ed might give up his source and get some from me.
Just do the FLoop burger. It's magical.
The Floop Burger...
I give my kids the caffeinated Tailwind when they start nodding off outside acceptable nap times.
Just kidding, I give them coffee because it’s cheaper.
Just received my first (and very prompt, I might add) shipment of Tailwind. Prepared for lift off. Unrelated, but if one were to get back to the finish line of this weekends Big Bear IMTB ride first, even though it's a social pace, would he or she still be the winner? Asking for a friend.
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Winner of what? kind of defeats the purpose of a social ride doesn't it.
Fame? Glory? Not having to scrape moon dust from the inside of your eyeballs and blow black boogers for 24 hours?
Uh.... sure! They would win a FREE prescription to imtbtrails (since they are a friend I am assuming they are not a member)
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Heck! I'll tell you what, if your friend wants to be the first one back from the ride... I will make it a guarenteed LIFE TIME MEMBER SHIP! Whoa! Yep! I said it. LIFE TIME.
Everyone else, it's really a social pace...
I just can’t seem to put my finger on it....but I can swear I have heard this before.
Hehe On social rides, the winners categorically do not finish first!
Nice stash, @buggravy...IMTBfools fueling for fun, a consistent theme here. To boldly go where no Matt has gone before...
