    Awe bummer TTB!

I’m gonna start making my excuses now by saying that I haven’t seen the sun in weeks so I might have already melted by the time I exit the strawberry portion! Can’t wait for this ride!

Yo @Tom the Bomb !! It was a killer day in the Gabes. We hit up Strawberry from Clear Creek to Red Box to Valley Forge down VF, up to Red Box then down the GAB to JPL. Epic ride with a good crew. 11 of us. Felt good hittn some SoCal dirt again!

Spent most of my day hangin w @rossage on the ups and downs. So good to get back to some good ol smack talkin! All the trails were in primo shape. Got to shred the GAB from Red Box with @Luis and Rossage , we cleaned the waterfall literally only tire lengths between us. Was a blast.

The GAB has some serious death defying exposure. The trail however is in great conditions thanks to the MWBA work and is a blast to ride.

David lent me his tricked out Hightower. Such a good bike. I loved it.

Luis always knows how to put a good ride production together. Yeah man!

Stats were 33 miles and 4500 gain.

Valley Forge is open and running good. Go get some!

Oh yeah! What a ride! Turned into a hybrid IMTB/OTB/MWBA ride on some of the best trails in the San Gabes. The all-star class ensured smack-talk and riding was top-notch.
Everybody has heard about how good Strawberry is but the star of this ride was Valley Forge trail. Recently worked on and ready for fun! Haven't been down it in several years due to it being overgrown but it is in fantastic shape now. High-speed S-turns through manzanita leading into loose, dusty, switchbacks that drop precipitously, testing your skills while begging you to look around at the amazing scenery. Eyes on the trail! Climbing back up to Red Box hurt and the toll was showing on a couple of riders. After bombing the Redbox Switzers section, we lost a couple of riders but the rest of us pointed downhill on the Gabrielino. Totally rocked it with just a few minor get-offs and the only mechanical that I know of was @Luis kneeing his pricey Wolftooth ReMote... Bummer.
I was somehow made into the point man for most of the ride. @Cisco Roots stuck on my wheel and we had a great time catching up and talking smack. His PNW skills transferred over well and he rode David's Hightower liked he stole it.

There are a couple of trees down along the route but nothing major.

    Everybody rocked it!

@Luis, @Cisco Roots, @burt, OTBs- Arby(he got the meats!), David, Josh, Carson, Jose, Jorge, MWBA- Matt B, and the guy in the green shirt that Luis knows from Tapia rides.
    What an amazing crew!

Such a great day on the trails... We gotta come up with something better now, cuz @Cisco Roots might be back for Christmas... Oh yeah!

    I got 32 miles and 4300 climbing, 6550 descent.
