Giant Strava Snowman Takes Internet by Storm

London cyclist Anthony Hoyte, from Cheltenham, used Strava to create the biggest snowman we've ever seen—he rode 88 miles through busy city streets in order to outline a ginormous detailed snowman with twig arms, eyes, a carrot nose, and a top hat (almost as cool as our cycling cap here). It took him 10 hoursto complete the masterpiece ride, which he'd designed the previous holiday season but had to postpone due to illness.

A buddy of mine did something like that a few years ago on a smaller scale. Fun!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have to actually do the ride.
You can just create it on the "create route" tool, correct?

 

YEah, that last one looks a little fishy.....there are some diagonal lines that look to skip over some roads.

While you are most likely correct in your feeling, you can just pause your Garmin and then start when you get to the other side.

But, then the ride didn't happen!

 

I think Strava art is pretty cool. A good recent one where they made the dragon of Wales. I think it was running, 22 miles.
