    Hi there IMTBers!

    Later life mountain biker here, started in my mid 40’s and going strong (ish!) 10 years later.
    Spent some time in NC which was a really good place to start without too many crazy climb, more rolling trails which were/are awesome fun. Coming back to live in CA 5 years ago and hitting 3000ft climbs straight from the car was an eye opener. Really enjoy the variety of trails locally and try to ride twice a week. Favorite trails so far are San Juan, the Luge, the San Gabes and further afield pretty much anything in Sedona:).

    ‘I’ve probably passed or, more correctly, been passed by some of the regulars on this site headed up to Beeks or 4 corners. I think I met Oldandintheway the other week headed up Maple Springs. Love being out there on my own in the Santa Anna’s in the winter, the worse the weather the better. Must be the Brit in me....

    I ride an Intense 275C or an older Evil Uprising. Really enjoy working on the bikes as much as riding them.

    Riding is pretty good around here, but the climbs can definitely an eye opener...:)

    Glad to see another south OCer in the mix. And, the Tracer 275c was my favorite bike ever (until my current one - but not by much).

    Ride a lot. Write a lot, but try not to Crashalot or you will Herzalot....:confused:
