After years of ownership, I finally had a need to use mine. Awesome! A great tool for difficult jobs (leather, webbing, multiple fabric layers). A bargain at $20, includes thread strong enough to rappel with. Revelate Feed Bags are, apparently, made for road riding. On both mine, the main attachment point failed/is failing. Some clown at a pack repair joint in town suggested I'd be better off buying new ones than fixing. F him! A $7 tube of SeamGrip, some Gorilla Tape and my stitcher made for a bombproof repair. This clown wanted me to throw out my full-sized backpack because the bottom fabric is destroyed. WTF is wrong with this guy?? That's a tougher job, but I am reviving it myself and it will be better than it was before. Yes, it will look imperfect; yes, I could not care less. Unless it truly is worn out, fix it! PS: "SeamGrip +Sil" is now formulated without the heavy fumes. Hoping it works as well as the old stinky SeamGrip. An indispensable product for outdoor gear repair And of course, waterproofing seams.
