SKYLINE! Big Bear 7/2/16

I suckered him, but the work load is growing. Starting to feel better. I will work late the rest of this week. The stars may lineup like they are for this ride.

 

@Mikie this ride is for slow climbers too?

 

With this size group, there are going to be all speeds!

 

As @Faust29 stated, the goal is for everyone to have fun.
There have been plenty of rides put on by large groups of all skill and fitness. I don't see why this can't be one of them...

Really....the first climb up Fern and the climb up Skyline to where Radford Grade meets up is the big climb. From there it is just a series of small punchy climbs for a whole lot of miles, before we have the bigger climb back up when we turn around.

My wife is not a fast climber, and she will has some issues early on with the elevation....but she'll be fine was we get in a little ways.

 

I ordered some two ways. The OTB guys use them from time to time. Just makes sense. A couple rides a year where we just laugh a lot have fun, ride bikes and shoot the Sh!t is just a good thing to do!
Come up and cruise and conversate...

Have to see if some crazy puzzle pieces come together later this week, if they do I'll plan to make it... or at least some of it. Still have a wild hankering for hitting Exploration trail (maybe after Skyline?), but wouldn't pass on meeting a bunch of the gang!

@knucklebuster I like to create confusion LOL, my SS is my Snow Summit bike !! The only one that I have !! Like my RR the other day "SS happiness" where some of the guys thought I changed sides !!

Can't make this one but for good reason; our daughter is flying in from the east coast Sat. evening! She hasn't been home for 2 1/2 years although we've flown out to visit her a couple times. Y'all have fun! I'll catch the next one!

Jes, hardtail friendly. I have ridden all over Big Bear on a hardtail, and this ride is very much hardtail friendly. AAMOF, I'll be on a hardtail myself.

The Trail Slayer and I will most likely be there, just got to make sure the work week goes as planned. As far as the jersey, I wore it at SS so it won't be seen for months.

Hey Mikie, can you post a link to the Strava route you posted (maybe I missed it)? I'm toying with the idea of going up for this, or at least part of it. Want to play around with the route and see if its doable.
