    Passing this along.....

    Howdy ya’ll;

    Those of you who have been on it know that Motorway is getting extremely choked with low-lying brush; so let’s get on it while June gloom is still hanging around. Meet on Saturday, June 22nd at 7:00am at the gravel parking area at the bottom of Motorway (the USFS gate will be open).

    A few intrepid hedger crews can get this brushing done before noon. Depending on turnout, there is some minor tread work that can be done near the bottom of the trail but the focus of this trail work will be to get the low lying vegetation that is choking out the trail and impeding visibility on the downhill. The top section of Motorway, above where the ‘Crosses” trail intersects, is clear and does not need to be worked.

    Lunch will be served after the trail work.

    Thanks for the notice. I'll have to see if I can get in on this. Can always take the bike along and ride down when finished.

    Just a bump....time to give back.

    Trails don’t fix themselves.

    If you’ve never done a Trail day, this is the easiest one to do.

    It’s not gonna kill you to give up one ride day to help out.

    Hell, I’m going.....and I’ll pay for it the following week since hiking aggravates my ankle.

    I'm a slacker. I'm going to GE.

    Don't make it too fast. I'd like my time to stand against some of these guys a little longer. :stop: :p
