Shin VS egg beater pedal

the pedal always wins.

and I wasn't even mountain biking. I was just fixing up the bike at work since it is kind of slow. went on a test ride with my big, slippery work boots on. came to an abrupt stop and boots slipped of the egg beater the pedal slid right up my shin. I think I got the whole thing from ankle to knee cap! I don't know how many times I have done this in my lifetime, but it has been a while.

but that OK, cause chicks dig scars right?

 

I thought "Shin" was a new type of pedal. (-_-!)
