Service with a smile...

OK so I am just about speechless in regards to what just happened. I had just got home from a semi crummy day at work and was midway thru my first cold beverage just sitting there chatting with Mrs Voodoo about dinner and whether we grill something or just go grab a bite to eat. About then I see a shadow of someone walking up to the door and as he got closer I think I said "no F'ing way" about 3 or 4 times. I ordered some Tailwind yesterday and was in no hurry and expected it around Tuesday, but @Mikie decided to totally surprise me and hand deliver it. I was completely shocked and had no idea but apparently he plotted the surprise with my wife. Last I knew he couldn't drive but he made the solo mission. Rusty was so exited he couldn't contain himself. He didn't like the cane Mikie was using at all and let us all know about it. Once I stashed it out front they became fast friends. A cold brew and some chatting and it was all over way too soon. His plan was brilliant except that he didn't bring Mrs. Watson and stay longer so we gave him crap and made arrangements for that to happen. Might seem like nothing to some of you but it put the biggest darn smile on my face that I'm actually tearing up writing this. I've learned so much from @Mikie not just about riding mountain bikes but about how to be a better person and have a positive outlook. Mikie Watson You are one of a kind and I love you brother and you totally got me...

Even the "no soliciting"sign didn't stop this guy. He's quite the business man...


Once Rusty worked out his crazies they enjoyed a cold one...


And Rusty made a new best friend...

Cathy suggested she come down with me and we go out with the Voodoo’s, but I didn’t know how the driving thing was going to work out and thought I was going to be tired. Turned out I was wrong and totally blew it! Should have listened and brought Mr. Watson.

Hanging out with the Voodoo’s is always fun. First time hanging out with Rusty, that dog is personality plus!

This is heart warming. The smile on Mikie's face says it all, and while there is likely some discomfort, you'd never know it. I wish there was a pic of you also VT, I bet you were glowing.
