    I'm assuming you are saying $45 bucks for the whole enchilada, not $45 bucks on just shipping and taxes...
    I paid $125 bucks for my last non carbon saddle so I think it's a legit deal... :)

    I like this link better. If you use it, imtbtrails gets a little sumptin sumptin and at no extra cost to you...

    Hmmm for road... be careful with MTB saddles that have pointy rears... baggies can get caught on them.

    Most carbon-railed saddles require a specific seatpost clamp due to the shape of the carbon rails. Some manufacturers such as Specialized, sell the carbon rail clamps separately for their posts.

    Maybe contact BC before buying to make sure.

    If you have a post that clamps from the top and bottom (Reverb, Thomson, Syntace...etc) you should be ok. The posts that clamp from the side will need oval clamps.
