Santa Cruz Boycott/Disposal- Send a Message To Our Dutch Overlords!

Due to the release of the new Hightower model (New geometry! New storage! New colors! Safer! Faster!), previous generation Hightower mountain bicycles are no longer being actively sought for the still on-going protest (The one year anniversary march and drum circle was quite the success!). Still, if you feel you want to do your part, previous generation Hightower mountain bicycles can still be collected. We want you to feel like your contribution counts. Just not as much now as it could have earlier.

For example an Izzo Uncaged 7 is more than 2 grand cheaper and comes with XX1, full AXS, RS Sid Ultimate, etc etc and is 6lbs lighter. SC are taking the piss.

 

I know right? Hence why Cyclotourist is will to take the SC hightower off your hands of you have one, they're just not worth it. A very noble gesture don't you think?

 

It's looking more and more like I will never own another Santa Cruz. With the costs of ALL new bikes it's looking like I will never own a NEW bike again. Bought my current 2016(?) OGHT used and it looks like I'll be riding it for many more years to come.

I had a dude pass me on the trail today on a wide single tire board, with headlights and tail lights. The age of E is here and there will be no escape. The dude was dressed in full roller derby body armour. He was going about 10 mph downhill. It looked like he was snowboarding. pretty trick
