This guy, riding this stuff, a few months after surgery! We climbed 3,743ft., but the decent is much much harder than the climb! It's a long vid. I make em long!

Good stuff, what/which trail(s)? Doesn't look overly technical, just constant.

 

Cold Springs, and don't know what the others were? Gets pretty tech, that was only a fraction of the constant, constant-constant chunk! Being out of bike shape didn't help either. I went over the bars and had the camera off, felt a little better about it when I heard Toms last squad, everybody took a sample, some more than once. These are good riders! Or adverage? Matter of opinion.

 

Camera never does justice for how gnarly the trail is. This I can say for sure. If @hill^billy & @Tom the Bomb and company had their difficulties and sampled the soil then this trail deserves respect.

 

Of course we all know the tire debate and know everything there is to know, well I learned first hand on this trail the advantage of Tom's big hoops and large frame, I am in no way shape or form detracting from Tom's smooth attack style riding which speaks for itself!
One in particular instance was I had one eye on Tom, and one on the bolder garden, Tom does a drop and smoothly lulled me into thinking it wasn't as tall as it really was. I didn't crash but it really took me by surprise. Notice there were alot of edits, mainly because Tom could ride stuff that I needed more momentum for and would get stuck without more speed. I get all of my moneys worth out of a bike, and then some from my sb-66 but am now looking forward to maybe 29" wheels.

 

The trails were Cold Springs to Girard to Lower McMenemy to Old Pueblo .
