Don't be a hater. We are just trying to offer a family friendly environment for ALL bike enthusiasts. I, personally, plan on demoing an E-bike because I can.

E-bikes on authorized trails should not be a point of contention, e-bikes in prohibited areas are a different story. They exist so we have to deal with them, just like we can’t un-invent guns.

@horsebikerider is involved in a lot of good things for MTB here in So Cal and while I don’t want to put words in her mouth I am sure she disagrees with illegal use of our shared trails. She is not promoting some sort of e-bike revolt against OC Parks so I am not sure why this event is being flagged as some sort of e-bike propaganda.

I don’t like e-bikes, nor do I like the pitchfork mentality that seems to be the norm these days. I’ll leave that to cable news and those who choose to engage in such nonsense.

No pitchforks. Not a hater. Just see the writing on the wall in my neighborhood. Proliferation of e-bikes on my local trails will likely lead to the banning of all bikes. We are struggling enough without a whole other user group being thrown into the mix.

It's all about context. If it works in your context, carry on.

Exactly, @Cornholio ! I couldn't have explained it better myself. I totally agree. I 100% against the use of e-bikes in OC Parks where they are prohibited. However, if a city allows them, then I am okay with that.

@herzalot , I totally agree with you about the use of e-bikes in Orange County. Our parks are WAY too overcrowded with all user groups and the lack of courtesy on the e-bike violators in the OC Parks is a huge issue. So, I support what you in what we are dealing with in Orange County. Please don't confuse what Revolution is doing at Castaic any reflection on what is promoted or allowed in Orange County. :)

I'm planning on going, playing a bit on Saturday afternoon and racing on Sunday morning. I might even demo an e-bike. After the race, I'll dine on some dirt on the pump
    track and jump line.

Super stoked to announce that Tinker Juarez will be racing both our gravel event on Saturday and our XC event on Sunday. Fresh off his category Win at La Ruta in Costa Rica this past weekend, Tinker is excited to be able to join us at Revolution bike fest this weekend. Here's a great chance to come out and hang out with a legend, take photos, get autographs, and share stories about racing around the world.

@tinker.juarez is the real deal. Plus you can check out his @ridecannondale setup

All this thread is NOT about eBikes!
This thread is about an awesome mountain biking event that many are working hard to put together.
    Let’s keep it that way.

Get out there and support this event for several reasons. It’s about mountain bikes, we have imtbtrails family working the event, some guy from imtbgear will be there on Saturday and Sunday with a booth selling Tailwinds Nutrition at reduced prices and paying the tax. We have imtbfamily donating time as volunteers at the event. We are trying to put together an imtb Ride during the event. Did I mention beer and bikes and demos?

Come out and have fun up near the Canadian border eh? Bring your took you hosers!
Tapia is a fun place to demo bikes!

Fun fun fun fun fun fun! Happy happy joy joy.
    Come out and hang out!
    There... I said it!;):)
