Revolution Bike Fest 2018

Ya got me... I just signed up for the race on Sunday.

 

With lots of miles and elevation!

 

Actually lots of short rides, so I can demo a sh!t ton of bikes.

Volunteer time goes by quickly.

 

I would actually like to try a short travel XC bike but I'm impatient and not willing to wait if the line is long.

 

There are going to be multiple bike manufacturers there. There shouldn’t be lines, and there should be enough bikes to satisfy everyone.

 

We’ll then there must be Ebikes available.

 

I would think so. There are ebike races!

Yes, because they are legal at Castaic. We are trying to make it one big bike party....no judgements

 

At the festival sure. No way you can expect us not to haze any IMTBers we catch demoing an ebike.

But personally, I will give you a pass if you demo an ebike wearing pink panties on top of your lycra.

If the beer garden opened earlier than 4pm then I may have been spotted on an e-bike in only my helmet and pink panties but that shouldn’t be the case.

Can you BYOB?

 

Were the Jets the Montegues or Capulets?

 

Pretty sure Castaic doesnt allow beer. Only special events can sell it.

 

But what if the STR Rads show up?

I'm leaning pretty hard into going.
Now, my boss just needs to give some time off.
If so, I could probably volunteer on Saturday.
Would race the OTH, 8am on Sunday?!?!

When camping, Sunday mornings tend to be rough.

 

That was me as well, it was more of a joke regarding the time the beer garden opens.

Hall pass was denied due to already calendared commitments anyways so I can’t make it this year.

Just signed up for a couple volunteer time slots, one on Friday and another on Sunday. I can do more if needed and I'll try to get my wife to sign up also.

What are you doing on Sunday? I volunteered for the race...

 

I have no idea, when you sign up online it's just a time slot. I signed up for Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon but I'm flexible though as long as I get to hang out with my buddies and hopefully terrorize a couple trails with them.
