Noticed a few pics on PB of the WC DH qualifier of these things on the rider's goggles. I don't know if they are remote controlled, motorized or manual, but have seen them doing their thing on in-car cameras during F1 and Nascar races. How cool would that be to have (another) bar mount button that moves the film so you can see again! Or to keep your go-pro lens clean!

I could really use this about 3 or 4 times a year here in socal. Rx lenses are mandatory and contacts not an option for me, soo.... think I'll put this on my wish list

I have traditional tear offs for my DH goggles, but frankly, I've never used them, and don't know how. I've watched the pros change their "film" while descending, but these aren't remote activated, are they?

I almost didn't click on it, cause I thought it was one of those random word generators used by spammers.

Thanks Grego, and only $140, seems like a great idea. I never liked taking my hands off the bars to pull a tear off off. Then again, wouldn't get allot of use out here in socal.

Those bike racers have a string they pull to move the film over the lens. It retracts back, sorta like a lawnmover starter.

really? A motor in the goggles? E-goggles? I'm appalled. Trails will be closed! This is mountain biking people. If you can't use your hands to tear off the film then stay off the trails.

And the e-debate oozes on. counterpoint... Just think of the thousands of tear-offs that have a half life of a million years littering the forest, where these little cans of roll up goggle film can be recycled

And @coolbreeze don't be posting pics of someone's half nekid daughter just to divert attention from this hot (ok, not really even lukewarm) topic ;)
