A lot/most/all of our trails are on, or cross former agricultural areas, and due to irrigation in the past, the invasive species thrived! In the fall it's terrible, this time of year, not that bad, but probably a 50% chance of picking up at least one over a 50+ mile ride. If you're tubeless NBD, but with tubes, that means stopping for a repair. Tubeless tech is the greatest game changer for riding in my life!

    1? :Roflmao

I don't think I've ever picked up less than 100 out there. It adds to the excitement to watch them go round and round in the tire.

Lots of homeless camps to choose from. I hear it’s pretty inexpensive. .

Cool. I may be able to find a nice "used" bike at one of them.

I just checked, and both the Ayers hotel and the AirBnBs in town are all booked!!! Guess 400 people coming into town have a bit of an impact it seems! Everything else left just search by price/amenities. None of them are bad, but the Comfort Inn is probably "nicest" and Super 8 might split the difference between value and amenities. I'd stay there if it were me.

I have floor and yard space if you want to dirt bag it. Don't know how your +1 would feel about that, but it's for sure an option as well. Four or five other guys will be here as well, so it'll be friendly!

BTW, only 100 spots left at this point!
