Fire road climb up Sisar to Nordhoff Ridge make a right to Red Reef Trail and drop back to Sisar. Climb back up Sisar to Horn Trail and drop the CHUNK!

Hey! @Voodoo Tom and I decided to do this ride. But we are NOT going to do it if no one jumps on. We want to take two vehicles. One to drop at the end of Horn Trail so we don’t have to ride the road for an hour back to Summit Elementary.

SO PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO JUMP ON THIS ONE.

Otherwise we will probably just end up doing Tapia at around 9:30/10:00 am...

I won't be there.

 

Weather could be great or it could suck depending on what source you look at. Red Reef used to be fabulous before the fire but we haven’t ridden it this year so who knows, I predict it’ll be good. Horn is a riot that we know for sure.

 

You know I wanted to go but the wife got a flat tire today and the puncture goes into the sidewall so that tire is toast. I spent over an hour shopping online and calling around trying to locate the needed single tire after not being happy with local tire place quotes and lack of availability. GRRR!!!

But my efforts were rewarded. I found a place out in Canoga Park that specializes in the brand I need and he was able to have the tire in stock tomorrow mid morning and for less installed than the others were offering. JACKPOT!

The place just so happens to be out on the way to burned up Cheseboro. If the weather behaves, I will drop the wheel off, go ride, and then pick it up on the way home.

So, I'm stuck here being a good husband...

Hard to fathom this prime circuit is not garnering more interest. HCT is in great shape, rides fun. A gorgeous ridge climb. Tons of after-ride options. Get those fancy squish rigs out where they belong!!!!!

 

It's the time of the year that's killing this. People are away or tied up with family for the holidays.
