Sorry for such short notice, this is real easy if you always wanted to try it. All you need is a hammock, a sleeping back and your jacket and a dehydrated dinner.
I'll bring the stove and fuel for dinner and some coffee or tea in the morning.
Start at around 5:00 PM from Altadena, ride up Mount Lowe to the Old Tavern site just below Inspiration Point. In the AM ride down to Sunset Ridge to Millard from there connect to Brown mtn rd, ride up it to Ken Burton trail and then Babrielino to the MWBA Pancake breakfast. After the event ride to the car and go home.

I'm riding the Rwanda ride but out of curiosity.. Would an ENO hammock work on a ride like this? What kind of sleeping bag? Maybe I should start my own thread, just always been intrigued with the idea of riding/camping/riding.

Sure it would work. I have the ENO double nest, used it a bunch of times. I just got me a new sleeping bag, this will be the first time using it. https://www.rei.com/product/102275/sierra-designs-zissou-23-sleeping-bag

For hammock sleeping it's better to have an under and top quilt but that's something a haven't pulled the trigger on, yet.

A guided bikepacking trip with someone who knows what he's doing...what a bro deal to throw out there. Hot beverages in the AM before hitting the trail? Nice touch, Berni. I'd be with ya if I didn't have another project welling up.

Fun solo ride and overnighter. I'd share more cool photos but this thing is not working properly.
