Want to donate to imtbtrails?
I found that very creative and enjoyable... Easier to watch that some of the death defying stuff.
Also love the out takes his skill he is a dismounting.
I want to ride this trail:
You mean you want to ride this trail like that?
It is a bit like Sidewinder and Cedar @ Tajoe Fountain Place. Not as twisty as Tajoe
Happy forest trails
Looks like Gwin found an aluminum Intense Megatower Mullet with Dual Crown...
Smashing Aliso with it.
Really dig Shimano's "This Is Home" series
That was good!
I have a secret man crush on Vanderham....
Ever since I saw him in this amazing segment from Seasons...
Watching Brendan Fairclough roost a ton of berms in "deathgrip"on Netflix. According to his Instagram it's only up for another few weeks so catch it while you can.
Now That was pretty amazing... I like some of the actual speed shots
..holy smokes... Some of those gaps... Music nice too
Damion Marley - Born to be Wild
And yeah, "keep the mountain in mt biking" Holy shmokes! Not only the big air at 40 mph, but the wicked scrubs. Nice to see it has stood the test of time since 2008, save for the narrow h-bars and small wheels.
Wouldn't be my path, but props to this guy for having a vision, and chasing it relentlessly.
Large gaps! And GG DH aluminum. Cool video.
I can't embed this video, so you'll have to click the link. I know Nino Schurter is next level, and I know he is a talented descender, but this is a riot to watch. Nino has his bike set up with his hands below the stem and he rocks. Claudio is back in pure Claudio form - wild and funny. And - look how chill Nino gets when encountering other riders or hikers. Slows way down in advance, says hello and thank you.
Claudio chases Nino
“Bua bua bua bua bua bua bua! AahHaHaHAHAHA!”
There is no question, Nino is fast.
What makes that even more impressive......these are the tires he was running:
Mr. Nino’s Wild Ride!
The Skill ... Both
The Speed ...Both
The courtesy... Both
Be Polite to the Hikers...And Pin It when Claudio Is Behind
The control Nino has over his bike... And this trails ...wow so fun!
I live in the wrong place. Ride with Geoff Gulevich down Boogie Man and Boogie Nights in Vancouver. The upper trail looks like so much fun to me (except the skinnies - but there are alternate lines for those) - although I have to remember that all features are bigger and steeper than they appear. The trail character and speed changes dramatically as he hits Boogie Nights. Frankly the top trail with its constant three-foot drops and natural features looks like more fun than the high speed flow trail bottom. Enjoy the ride - don't hit the hikers or their off-leash doggie!
(Removed video cuz dude was on a motorcycle.) Great trail nonetheless.
Trail looks fun....but couldn't get over the sound of the vacuum cleaner running.
Hmmm, I didn't hear that, even when I went back to listen.
Watch out for that TREE!!!
I'm much more sensitive to these things.....
It helps when you’re 150 lbs soaking wet. Those fishtail switchbacks require good timing and total commitment at that speed. I would think Claudio was at a disadvantage having to maneuver an Ebike 3x as heavy the same way.
This is what I hear:
So you are saying Gulevich was on an e-bike in that video? I didn't hear it, and it's not evident in the short climbs. Can you point me to a segment (index)? Not saying he's not, just didn't catch it.
I gave it another listen a little louder and I think I hear it now. I thought it was wind in the microphone at first, but on the little climb at 3:45 I think I hear it. Then he has the audacity to say "Oh yeah - that'll get the heart going!" One shot of his handlebars shows a screen that could be a power indicator.
If that's the case - you suck Mr. Gulevich! Love the trail, but gonna have to pull the video.
