Just realized this is in Lake forest not far from me.
I'll be dropping by today after my ride and check the bike shorts...time for a new pair..and at 25% off :)

I bought my first Mtn bike at this location in apx 1999 ( a different shop name at that time). Specialized M2 hardtail. Damn I crashed that thing a lot, but was hooked from ride one.

I, too, bought my first new Mtnbike at that store in '96, it was Bicycles Etc. Got a Turner Burner (the first ones that had the CNCd BB mount), a Judy fork, XTR V-Brake/8 Speed shifter combo levers and Cane Creek BAM Wheels. I couldn't believe I was really buying a bicycle for 3600 dollars. Crazy.
BTW, They guy who ran the Bicycles Etc shop who sold me the Burner, his name is Hank. I think he's back there at the Pure Ride store now.
And I need to join one of @shawndoh's rides again, if he does dirt anymore :) Last time I couldn't even keep him in sight up or down, beast.
