Not to get your hopes up or anything, but if you really are considering such a gathering this coming weekend, I am out. I still have the girl solo Saturday and need to make an appearance at @Danimal's wedding reception, then pick up my wife at the airport.

Ok just gotta set the record straight on the barbecue just in case. What started as a simple photo of my fathers day gift(that just so happens to match my bike) got the typical imtbtrails derail. I totally took the whole thing as a joke/entertainment but maybe not everyone did. Gonna be miserably hot anyways but truth be told at some point it does sound fun. Like when it cools off and the hills are green again.

 

Marking my calendar for next spring.

Dunno about Simi or Castaic but during each of the last several Falls, whenever we got measurable rain (thats a laugh), the hills temporarily greened up and we even experienced a mini bloom here. That said, you’ve got a point.
