30 years old and still going strong...

 

Finishing 70 miles and coming down with the Flu.....ugh!!!!!

 

One of these guys raced for Yeti and won 10 world cup downhills soon after this photo was taken. The other posts here.

 

Found this cross today, on my way down on troy lee, I know its new, because on new years eve it wasnt there, hopefully its just to reminder us of jesus christ and not of a fatality.. happy trails every one !

 

I just ran 6 miles and rode 15 miles with over 3000 feet of elevation gain and all I got was this coffee mug?

The bike is beautiful, the stoke undeniable but that trailer hitch cover is da bomb! Although... the bike looks a little small for the metal rider. Maybe he should get a Ripley too! That's probably what my little 26er looks like under my 6'4" self. Any chance you got that cool metal doo dad from a guy in Steamboat Springs...Roof Art?

 

Oddly the hitch cover is the first thing people notice. My fiance says she picked it up 15 years ago at Newbury Park Bike Shop.

You gotta love the expression on the roadie's face behind me...and doing the Tour de Palm Springs full century on my Mamba was ... refreshing.

 

I was donating some stuff at my local goodwill store, and went inside and was looking at the jerseys and this one caught my attention, is used tough.

 

This one was painful, since it was very soon after I got back into riding. Going up Casitas Pass.

She is supposed to be on a Palm Cyn. Epic right now with The Bomb Squad ( 80 MPH wind & blowing cactus) But this ain't so bad.

 

I've thought about doing this on the hardtail! I'll probably chicken out, though, and stick to the road bike.
