    I am so sorry.
I was cleaning house and saw that @jaime had a duplicate Power Saddle Post going. I combined them, then saw it was a duplicate. Deleted the duplicate and the whole thing went away.

It's a great thread on a great saddle. It's the first time I have done something like that and I am truly sorry.
I hope we can start another thread on the Specialized Comp as it truly is a great saddle.

    My apologies!

I believe the saddle you guys are talking about is the Specialized "power" saddle.

Well... In the vein of recreating the thread content for posterity...

@jaime picked up the Specialized Power saddle. We talked a little bit off-line about saddles, and I shared my story about the doctor recommending an anatomically friendly saddle for some personal issues. You old guys can probably get where I'm going... :whistling: Basically, if you ever get numb while riding, it ain't a good thing. It's caused by restricted blood flow to the man parts and surrounding areas. Personally, I want as much blood going through there as possible. I plan on keeping all those parts in tip top shape.

At the time I bought mine, the market wasn't as packed with designs that took the pressure off the nether regions, and I went with the Adamo Peak. It's been around for a long time, and is one of the originals. It looks funny, with its split rail design, but it's the same basic shape as the Specialized saddles of today, with an open area to relieve pressure on the perineum, and an "elevated" rear for the sit bones. Unlike my saddle, however, @bigringrider101 will never accuse Jaime of showing up on a girls' saddle. :p

If I were in the market today, I would really consider one of the Power saddles, as the shape is very similar to my Adamo, and the price is a lot nicer...

EDIT: @Mikie - I'll save a copy of this on my computer just in case there's another "accident" while we're discussing Specialized stuff. :whistling:

    Google has it cached...

    I googled - http://www.imtbtrails.com/forum

it comes up as top result (obviously)

    Click the little black triangle

    choose "Cached" (first option)

    choose Component Product Reviews

    choose Specialized Phenom Saddle

there are 2 pages of posts, last one by Siata94 on May 2

You might be able to copy and add them back in?

Great Idea. Unfortunately wrong thread. The Phenom was my post. Jaime was referring to the Speshy Power Saddle.
