Back to the lecture circuit:
I read an online article yesterday, "25 Best Habits for a Successful Life" or something along those lines. 3 misspelled words stood out on a casual read.
I guess Habit Number 26 should've been "Proofread." For me, the errors detracted from the writer's credibility. Not such a big deal here, or texting, but whatever.. practice makes prefect.

It's a generic government term that covers a bunch of different fields. Currently I am one of the guys responsible for ensuring all Hazardous Waste is properly managed and disposed of on Camp Pendleton.

I'm not an environmentalist, but I am a conservationist.

From my understanding our office has a good working relationship with the local tribes, but I'm not in that loop. We have a fair amount of native American sites on base, and new ones pop up from time to time.

The toughest thing about being on a Forum is understanding the "intent" of someone else's text. I think it's a big reason that "smiley's" came into its' world. <---Smiley

But, if we all apply Mikie's "Sure fire way to get along on a forum" philosophy of:

Rule Number 1: You can attack an issue but NEVER each other.
Rule Number 2: Always assume a post is written with good intentions.

Then 99.9% of the emotional challenges go away. I have a zero tolerance policy on this, as has been proven and executed in the past.

Wish me luck. Going to try my first ride since 2+ weeks of non-stop coughing. Coughing eased into mono-like energy levels, but feeling a little better today. Can't believe I missed all this good digging/Christmas/New Year's?!? Going out to ride STT; possibly Luge. This site kept me sane for the duration, though got worried about the 'Jop Droppers' as darkness came on with no report.

Thanks @scan for posting this video. Definitely worth watching multiple times. Super inspirational. Never going to have those rock-hopping skills, but wish I could do switchbacks like that!
