New Years Eve Day . . . Anyone riding today?

I know it's already late (8:41am) but has anyone got a ride planned for today or this afternoon?

I'm mislead by the 27 degrees at my house and know if I drop to a lower elevation it won't be too bad...

Anyone riding?

 

Jennifer and I are going to ride in Wildwood later. She has the Ibis HDR until Saturday.

 

Way to cold and windy here also, wind seems to be between 20 & 30 mph. Got a quick loop in yesterday

 

was planning on doing chiquito today until yesterday it became apparent would be snow covered. was gonna go anyway maybe do SJ instead if necessary but ortega highways closed! plus i diont like riding in strong winds. Might just do aliso this afternoon if winds calm down...

 

Temps to hit 50 degrees in Castaic at Noon, so I guess I'm gonna hit Tapia and get a couple hours in.

I'll be at the Sports Complex parking lot at around 11:30 if anyone wants to get a cruiser in...

 

1000 mph winds here too. And cold. 50* sounds warm.......
.

 

Tomorrow looks like a different story though, thinking of hitting Hauser & Snake Bite.

Ugh, working till about 2:00ish then thinking of a quick lapia. Perhaps our paths will cross..

Did skyline-the ball and some dh trails on the way back, really cold and super windy and to my good luck found snow at the top of beeks place.

 

My fingers were so frozen stiff today that I was having trouble hitting my dropper post button in a timely manner. I was thinking that I should bring my ear muff thingee next time, toughing it out this ride. It was only 45F, but the wind was pretty strong and gave me a bit of a workout early on, until I just gave in and started spinning in a low gear. Still probably better than what you're facing. I was just not geared up properly.

Bluesrider and I hit up Tapia today and although cool it was perfect! A little bite in the breeze but we got in over 26 miles and over 3k of climb... I think we got lucky...
It was 50 degrees when we hit the trail.

 

And off to work I go

 

What? How can you work and ride at the same time? You're not even awake yet!

1/4 inch of ice on my dogs water bucket this morn. Gutters are frozen.....
