I'm starting this forum for a couple of reasons.
    • One to take surveys of what you guys think cuz... yur smart!
    • Provide updates on what is going on in the background as I try to build the imtbgear site.
    • Plus, I want to know what you guys want on imtbgear if you do choose to buy stuff there.
    • ...And, I'm thinking I'm going to keep this forum private to imtbtrails members exclusively so I can post coupons for member dealz.
So for now, this Forum is not public and may stay that way. So please keep this to yourself.

    Update:
As an update for those interested. I have secured a Storefront in Lebec to doctor up so I can now start submitting to the wholesalers to accept my applications so I can be a Retail Distributor.
Building will be painted by the end of next week. Sign is getting made with my really crappy store hours, ha hah!

Have been looking for baggy pants or knickers with UV protection for when UV protection is needed: When the sun is shining and it is hot.
All I can find is rain clothes and very warm winter clothes not to talk about downhill clothes with room for knee pads and a lot of other stuff that I do not need. All light clothes that are good for riding when the sun is shining and it is hot are good only for those with skin that can be in sun without problems. You cannot all be dark skinned.

Sorry J-Zilla. It is not simple. Sorry. Did not mean to.

I can highly recommend Zoic knickers... they are great. A little bit of stretch, and cargo pockets that work great.

    https://www.backcountry.com/zoic-reign-bike-knicker-mens

They are a lot more UV resistant than my skin, but you can make them more so with some RIT UV protection: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LFYTMZY/?tag=imtbtrails-20

I wear them pretty much year round. A little hot in the summer, but I appreciate the UV protection.

Thank you for the links. The knickers look great but maybe a little (or much) too hot for the climate here. In winter temperature is 77 and in summer (9 months a year) it usually is above 95 and pretty often more than 105 degrees. I have a pair of Specialized Demo Pro pants not being used even though they have a guaranteed 50+ UV protection because they are impossible to climb in. Do you think the Zoic knickers will be too warm here? Don't need pockets as I have a Wingnut Enduro backpack that can have all I need to carry. http://wingnutgear.com/shop/enduro
The UV protection from Amazon.com will not send to Spain and from Europe Amazon.de will not send to the Canary Islands. Funny as here the sun is all year, and in Germany where they have the protection, sun is not often seen.

Similar temps where I live... it's 80F and sunny all week, next week, last week! Summer is 110F and humid.
If you find some linen knickers, those work best, but they can wear out quick a lot faster.
The Zoics are pretty good. They are thin weight, that's why I like them!

    Found this about the SunGuard:
Description: Rit SunGuard puts an invisible shield into clothing that helps block more than 96% of the sun's harmful rays from reaching your skin. Simply add SunGuard to the wash cycle, rinse and dry as usual. Works with any size load to add UPF 30 into every garment for up to 20 washings. It won't change the color or comfort of clothing. Synthetic fibers, such as polyester, acetate, acrylic and nylon, cannot be effectively treated using SunGuard.
So not useful for the knickers that are 100% synthetic material. I like the design of the knickers but the material is not for me:
I did chat with Backcountry and the guy I talked with told me he was not aware that they have any kind of UV protection in the material.
Still looking for UV protective pants / knickers.
