New bike, well frame and fork, day!!!

I told my son before he left on his deployment in May that I would sell him my 5010 at a silly price when he returned so I figured I better get moving on the parts swap since he'll be back in January. When I was offered a 2018 Yeti SB5 frame @ 24% off MSRP, I decided to jump in. I have no idea what happened between the shop and Yeti but I scored because they ended up sending me a 2019. Looking forward to getting it dirty in Utah this weekend with @pperrelle

I pretty much swapped the parts over from my 5010 to this bike but did get a new Fox 36 with the Grip 2 damper. Only a street ride so far but the best Fox fork I've had in years. Feels soooooo much better straight out of the box than my 2018 RC2 model that has been worked on and massaged to make it "acceptable".

 

She's pretty!

 

So good. I've got a Yeti in the works as well, looking forward to it.

I had the original SB5 in 2015. Only bike I ever regret selling.
