So back in June I sold the big squishy bike to buy my first 29'r xc bike. Looked at many options but stayed with the Intense Cycles family heres a pic of old versus new

Oh yes! Loved my Tracer but this thing is a rocket and at 25 1/2 lbs quite a bit lighter. With 120mm all around it rides like butter.

Well something just arrived at the office...

 

do i open it up IN the office or drag it to the jeep and drive home for the day... i better ask my boss for his opinion

 

Oh my. I'm very interested to see what comes out of that box.

 

If your boss is anything like my boss, he/she will tell you to drag it to the Jeep and go home for the day.

 

But the box would need to stay in the back of the warehouse, lost, for a few weeks before allowing delivery or removal.

Or so I've heard here...

You just know someone's going to say "go singlespeed and there's nothing to it." Worry not; I knew nothing about it and I've built up a bike - the same one - twice.

And that is a drool-worthy frame.

all built up thanks to J's garage... he took me in on short notice... it was hands on learning and helping the bike build.

frame was listed at just over 5lbs. current build is 29ish.

Yeah, a good looking bike! The Middlechild was mentioned by one astute forum memeber in our radtail conversation.

 

Sweet! I like the way they mirrored the chainstays. And the HTA. and the low standover and... Wish this frame was out in 2018 when I was shopping.

Two questions: What size frame is that and what fork?
