I was considering doing some murrieta-adjacent sightseeing one of these early mornings...usually have pretty limited time for such outings. Anyone know how self-explanatory/easy-or-difficult to get lost such a venture might prove?

If its where I think you are talking about. Point your bike uphill til you get to the top then turn around. Pretty easy to figure out. Usually peeps there to ask also.

This sightseeing place is as big of a secret as Yosemite. Lots of people on a weekend. Trails are pretty well marked, hard to get lost. A couple of trails have names that make the trail sound scary...and they are (if you're not damn good, just roll by to another). Insidious is the one that comes to mind.

The DH only trails look like DH only trails. So if it feels wrong, find another trail. Strava can help too.

You could always PM one of the locals... There are a couple members on the forum who live in that area.
