Anyone ever tried this: MTB Fitness He is all over social media and has some really positive postings. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried the program and what they thought about it. I'm not promoting it at all .....just curious if you have seen it or tried it.....

No experience with that one. I follow @dialedhealth on IG and he has some solid stuff. I know he also has a paid program via his website, but he also provides a lot of free high quality content on social media. I've become a big fan of kettlebells for strength training, and he has a lot of KB circuits.

Yeah, I know! He does post some really positive stuff on his social media...I have to admit, at times, I have been tempted to pull the trigger. Just not sure if I need to spend money to get what he's providing. That's why I was wondering if anyone here had ever tried it....

I don't see the link to the "babysitting" page or to the "submit your bills here to be paid by someone else" page. A little bit more time to offset those responsibilities would yield a lotta bit more fitness for me.

Ride more = more fit. Ride less = less fit. Assuming the same caloric intake.

    You're welcome!

This is an interesting topic to discuss, but I think that running is much cooler and safer. During MTB Fitness training, not as many calories are burned as during running. Just if a person is thinking about starting to lose weight, that it is better for him to start running, and not riding a bike. Two years ago, I wanted to lose 20 pounds. My problem was that I was too shy to train in front of other people. The only thing that helped me lose weight, the treadmill, which I found out about on https://calibrate.fitness/nordictrack-commercial-1750-review/. I ran on it every day and ate healthy food, so I managed to achieve the desired weight.

Not only did running help me lose weight, it also made me a stronger climber. I went from only being able to stand up for short bursts to standing up for entire climbs.

I administered the IMTB version of the Turing Test. If it passes this level, I may ask it to play chess. :Roflmao

If the answer is not sentient level, well then... Boom.

Unpopular opinion: My road bike made me a stronger mountain biker. Lots of spinning and lots of miles. The main ingredient is ride time regardless of bike type. Ride ride and then ride some more.

I think most would agree that road miles increase fitness. I just can't bring myself to do it that often. :p

It’s not for everyone. I dislike riding next to cars as much as the next guy. After a while you get pretty used to it. The one thing I like about road I don’t often get with dirt is, distance. Riding 80 miles around an area really let’s you see a lot.
