@Sasquatch9billion this is still happening. I haven’t decided which bike I’m bringing, what whichever one it is wont be last to the cooler.

Eldest brought a cold home from pre school. Then as all 3 year olds are, proceeded to be a bio terrorist, infecting the six month old.

Covid test came back negative, so that's a plus

Nope. I am sorry to disappoint my adoring fans who were looking forward to ripping my legs off, but a late football game after party (losers' edition) and domestic responsibilities = no long drive to ride.

Love you brother @Mikie, but you will have to enjoy my charms and wit through the written word instead of one (or several) of those handsy bear hugs!

It’s ok Mikie. Another legendary HOoLiGaN adventure worthy of a robust Trailhead Invite and limited Ride Reporting, which contributes to the balance of content on iMTBtrails. You shudda been there or oughta be next time.

 

I had a great time riding with everyone celebrating Mikie's upcoming new and improved knee replacement. ( See..? This just goes to show a guy will do just about anything to be faster. Wait Mikie's already fast! ) I arrived at the Castaic Sports Complex and hour early but I had been up since 1:45 am. The climbs weren't that hard although I always feel I'm the slowest of the bunch. The downhills were a blast- single track nice and flowy. My first time riding this area and I would like to go back and give the area a try on a full squish bike. We had lunch afterwards at a local Mexican restaurant where I piled down the chips and salsa along with cold beer and a Carne Asada plate. When I got home my wife and daughter were making salsa for a party of 20- baby shower but they wanted Mexican food. I'm like.. Uh wha? The guys... I just ate.. Um.. Ok hun.. sure what ever you want. I'm pretty sure I wiped out any loss in my waist line with eating 2 Mexican meals with beer too but it was so good! Thanks for having me along riding with a great group IMTB riders.

 

oh I saw this accusation coming! No. Really. A bizarre experience. Even @UPSed liked it first thing this morning then… poof!
