WW is perfect for SS. In fact I’ve never ridden a geared bike out there.

I agree with @mtnbikej. I think climbing Boy Scout on SS is much more enjoyable. All the descents are steep enough that you don't really get to pedal anyways so there is no disadvantage there for a SS maybe a hardtail but not SS. The only place I can see a disadvantage would be if you went back up to Table Mt. and returned on the road like we did last time. Then you will for sure be spun out.

Yeah I can see how SS would be great up there. Only place I was worried about was climbing out from the bottom of Leprechaun but it's only steep & loose for a short ways so I'm sure I can do it.

I've cleaned that last 100 feet to the fire road just so that I can say I did it. But I've walked it every other time. :Roflmao

Boy Scout is one of my absolute favorite single speed climbs.

Oh I have no intention of even trying that :gag:. I only have about a 50/50 track record with gears :Roflmao.

Now I don't feel so bad. I hate that climb out of Leprechaun, so much so that I use it as a weak excuse not to ride Leprechaun. :gag:

I may be able to pry myself away to do a group grope at WW around the 4th. Maybe not ON the 4th.

I'll bring my single speed hardtail fixie gravel grinder unicycle - cuz evidently geared full suspension bikes are just stupid!

How many will have Monday off (July 5th)? I have to check to see if I do...

Edit: It looks like I have Monday July 5th off on our Holiday Schedule.

I'm off the 5th, but leave the 6th for 10 days of out of state work.
On the plus side, I do have a road ride planned in the hills of Vermont the following Sunday, looking forward to that. Only the second time I'll be riding while traveling for work.

On a side note, I'll be really sick of restaurants and steak houses and group dinners by the time I'm back. Home cooked meals FTW.
