    With the time change, a 5:00 PM roll time means the entire ride is in the dark. You need a light that will last the entire loop. I usually carry a spare...

    Temps might be quite cool- especially for the jaunt across Main Divide. This time of year, I always have extra clothes in the pack. Dry gloves, thicker headsweat, maybe socks, windbreaker, etc...

    We are usually around 2.5 hrs for this loop.....social pace being about 3 hrs.

    ~~~~~ Optional Details ~~~~~
    Meet Location:
    Silverado Canyon. We usually park on the side of the road about 1/4 mile from the MS Trailhead:
    I don't doubt that one bit. Precisely why I need to figure out how to do this loop at night. Can't make this Wednesday, but definitely want to get in on this.
    If you were here, I'd pick your brain about some of the GG models and their sizing. There may be an opportunity in the not so distant future for an addition... And they're on the short list.
    Thank You Faust29 and MtnbikeJ for having me along tonight! I started the ride 1 hour early because I know I'm a slower climber. I made it to 4 corners in 1:51:31. I left at 4:00 pm and was up top at 5:50 pm. They said they would be there around 6:30. I used the time waiting in the dark to put on my knee and arm pads. I still had time so I sent out a text that wouldn't send. Oh well. A few minutes later they showed up well before 6:30. Faust29 and MtnbikeJ were really informative as to what to expect on the road seeing as how I hadn't ridden this section between four corners and motorway. While I had to HAB as needed both Faust29 and MtnbikeJ peddled it all. The motorway. Love and dislike the top of the motorway. I'm happy I made it this far but dislike the fact that I know the ride is almost over. MtnbikeJ took the lead. Faust29 put me in the middle. Riding down the mountain was pretty cool, fun and enjoyable as I am familiar with this single track decent but in the dark a completely different experience. It was awesome! Thanks again!
