Looking for your old 29" 2.35" tires

A coworker of mine has recently been bitten by the bug and picked up a cheap f/s GT 29er. The tires on it are 2.1" pizza cutters. I've been helping him out here and there with spare parts I have but I don't have any tires to give him, or I would.

So, I was wondering if any of you guys have some old ones laying around that you would let go for cheap. He lives in Carson, but we both work in Huntington Beach. I know beggars can't be choosers, however if you are in around either of those areas and would like to help, please let me know.

I have a couple of 2.35 Nobby Nics you can have for free but I'm up in Simi Valley. That's halfway to Canada!

Actually make that a six pack! I like beer!

 

I have some and possibly moving soon so need to get rid of some but I live in Orange/work in Newport.

Just a precaution. I too bought a GT for a song $500.00 but I replaced everything. If its an old Sensor the Allterra rims are no joke about 15/16 mm. I.D. So bigger tires I'm guessing may get all goofy??

 

I ran into a rider on a brand new Scott hardtail on Sunday... very entry level. He was lying bloodied and bruised on the descent before the Luge flag. Really shaken up...

2.1 WTB Nanos inflated by the shop to around 65 psi. I didn’t ask which shop...

They put some sketchy ass tires on those entry level bikes!

No worries, would rather they get used on dirt than be used as wall art. I don’t know why I bother keeping half the tires I do anyways.
