Looking for a 29er rim

My rear rim has cracked at the spokes so looking for just a 29er rim with any width (30mm - 33mm). This is a backup rear wheel that i put a slick tire on so I can ride the bike path and not ruin my WTB knobby tire. LBS quoted $235 to replace spokes, nips and rim. Yet on a SRAM hub that is just to much $$ cashesh.
BTW - Is there a ‘resale’ bike shop in the LA area that may have recycled parts? There’s a great one up in San Rafael but that is in SF.
