Did somebody build a wall around California? It must be easier to enter than it is to exit. Why i$ anyone who doe$ not want to be here $till here?

We actually should be able to handle diverse opinions, no matter how whack!

Probably the biggest problem in the nation (world?) today is surrounding yourself in an echo chamber of like mindedness. We are geographically splintering into think-alike zones. And that’s really scary.

Critical thinking has disappeared - replaced by a cult-like following of disinformation that we want to believe, so we choose to believe it.

 

Birds are not real!!!!

 

They are real. And they are conspiring to take away your possessions by swooping out of the sky in unison, invading your homes and taking away all of your bird feed and assorted sundries, along with any means of defending yourselves against future bird invasions, all commanded by a deep state cartel in a pizza shop.

 

Neither are women, as I’m finding out.

 

California. The best winter riding is coming upon us. Oaks post rain. Sunny el mo. Crunchy snow sart. Even strawberry winter.

 

And ski/snowboard within a 90 minute drive.

 

Because they come California, make their money, leave, then talk crap.

I'm in Phoenix yesterday and today. A red state and I've seen plenty of homeless here too. It's a universal problem and not isolated to just calif.

And 90 degrees and sunny though, so the weather is Heaven right now!

True. We are like minded by definition on this site. We all enjoy mt biking in some form or another, although we prefer different aspects of it and ride for different reasons. And yes, the consistent posters on this site are very vocally against e mt bikes and most who ride them on trails where they are not "allowed."

I believe I am on record in about 20 posts saying that I won't confront ebikers violating the rules because I violate the posted rules every time I ride too (10 mph speed limit). I do have a huge disdain for prick-like behavior, but that goes for anyone on any type of bike (STRAVAssholes, DH Stormtrooper on a two-way trail, etc). But yup - we can share our collective disdain for ebikes.
