    Good evening and Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I want to take my Bro-in-Law and nephew riding on Sunday, but don’t want to go too extreme with them as they are relatively new to the sport. I was thinking of doing Ladera Ranch, which I have never done.

    Does anyone know how well it handles the rain, (don’t want to ruin the trails), and if the area is even open after rain?

    With the amount of rain we got….I doubt anything will be “not muddy” come Sunday. Especially since we are expecting more rain tomorrow night.

    I'm heading to sycamore canyon in Riverside sunday. One of the best places after rain!! Trails are pretty tame out there.

    I think that’s the ticket. Tires will still get muddy but it will work.

    I can't imagine anything down there not being a slop fest after a good rain.

    I avoided parts of the arroyo when it hadn’t rained… :gag:

    Thanks for the replies. We decided to postpone it until next weekend ... assuming it doesn't rain all week.
