I think it was $15... for the entire year. Worth it, I think. And it relies on the Strava data, so it's consistent...

    My 2018 stats: 802.2mi / 92,516' / 115hr 2min / 72 rides

    Thats up from 625.4mi / 64,669' / 80hr 46min / 62 rides in 2017

    2019 I'm breaking the 1,000mi 100,000' threshold

I was on track for 2,o00/200,000, but my little dirt nap on Warm Springs put me off that. I thought I was going to get it at the end, but a 35 mile ride on the 31st just wasn't in the cards. So I hung out, had a nice meal with the family, and watched old Top Gear specials with the fam instead!

Strava kinda screwed me up. It went a few rides without refreshing my 2017 totals.

I was 12k’ feet short as of 12/27 then did 2 rides for about 10k’.....but I ended up 7k’ over 2017.

    Go figure.

    Pretty happy overall with 2018...

860 miles and 115k ft gain on my #ripmo in MT, CO, UT, Santa Cruz, & SoCal
300 miles and 51k ft gain on my old Turner prior to selling midyear.
402 miles and 23k ft gain on my all dirt commute on the lynskey hardtail mtb.
263k vert ft resort skiing. Most days included some hiking and towing around the 2 year old.
11k vert ft of elevation gain backcountry skiing.

2nd kid arrived in Jan 2018, so that cut into activities first part of the year, so very low numbers back country skiing. Over half of that was from last week.
All resort skiing was in April or Xmas week and most at Big Sky. Was excited to get the kid skiing and also ski bunch of fun a-z chutes.
3 months of paternity leave cut into commute miles, typically try to get close to 1000 per year.
Still loving the #ripmo and got some awesome rides in on it in 2018.

I set no goals for 2019, but here's some data:

51 MtB rides - 102,194' (dunno how many total miles, but I averaged well over 150' per mile)
18 days on snow - so far. 1 more coming up Tuesday
    20 surfs
Met and rode with 14 IMTB members I hadn't met or ridden with before.

Basically something awesome 90 days this year. 25% of all days. I call that a HUGE win for a guy who works 60+ hours a week! Yay me!!!

    My goals for next year:
Make the best of what life has to offer.
Be a good husband, father, family member and educator.
    Keep riding (bikes and boards)
Try to stay healthy (understanding that my sports have risk).

Happy New Year Hooligans and Hooligals!

Retrospection reveals immense satisfaction with 2019. :inlove::geek: Highlights...

    - Got my babe on a new bike that she loves and rode like she has never ridden a bike.

    - Got to see a few good people up in Truckee, including some IMTBros, a couple I even rode with.

    - Climbed three grade 5 rock routes, all push ascents including one complete block of leading. Including an unlikely reunion with a long-ago wall partner. Suffice to say it’s been years since I’ve had a cobweb blowout like that; and it bodes well for 2020.

    - Did my hardest and strongest rides for something like my 10th year in a row. Lots of new tech stuff got onsighted, and a couple of my favorite endurance-type rides were dispatched with relative ease.

    - Lake Trail bikepacking...three days of riding I can’t resist when I’m there.

    - Honorable mention goes to music. I made some like never before with my Reno bros, and they guided me through a new instrument purchase with which I could not be happier.

Lay it on us – 2019 high notes, please! :) And here’s to making your 2020 something to report about.

I'll find a way to get 12 miles today/tomorrow, even if it's in the garage. :whistling: That'll give me 2,500 miles this year.

No way I can get 8,500 feet, so I'll have to settle for 192,000 vertical. :gotnothing:

Not too bad for having most of the summer off the bike.:thumbsup:

What a year. Strava statistics paint a very different picture than my overall experience, but are still useful. Between 2/18 and 11/2, my relatively small window between injuries, I rode 56 times for 778 miles and 97,336 ft. But man, so much goodness packed into those otherwise lackluster stats. The difference between those first February rides and the October rides was profound. I fell deeply in love with something that's going to continue enrich my life for many years to come (and will no doubt smack me around some more as well). Without taking the time to count everyone on my fingers I'd say I rode with at least 40 IMTBers. But again, that's just a stat. Friendships and bonds were formed, and camaraderie was had. 2020 will also not be a numbers game. I will almost certainly have an even shorter riding window, but my "goal" is to at least get more mileage and feet than 2019. Hopefully the rebuilding process will be quicker than the building process in terms of skill and fitness. Cant wait to share some dirt with as many of you folks as possible this year. Is it Spring yet?

After seeing this thread I looked at my 2019 STRAVA stats. I don't always run STRAVA so I logged maybe half my rides, give or take.
Says I rode 839 miles and 96,700 ft. I figure could conservatively add 1.5-2x this for the real number. Not my most active year, but not bad either for me.

    2019 is a good year.....
Did a few rides with the iMtb crew. I need to say that everyone here is like an old friend when you meet them. Truly a blessing whenever I get a chance to ride with Y'all!

Here's to 2020....and more rides with everyone!!

On a 2019 sad note, I weep for my country and fear that democracy in the US is being threatened. I pray we keep it as the founding fathers intended.

I had a Meh year totals wise under Totals I wanted but such is life.

    The actual numbers ...
    Distance 1,748.5 mi
    Elev Gain 159,203 ft
    Rides 108
Wanted 2K, 200K which is my normal standard

    Did work too much....
Didn't get in enough adventure rides.
Did get SOME adventure Rides (IMTB Skyline Ride) and a few other., PCE, BB, etc.
Did have a blast when I could.
Did have 50+ Hours of Volunteer Time.
Did Climb Mathis the fastest I had in 7 years ... hehe...
Did crash at 28.9 MPH with NO major consequences (Technically I think that should make the year in itself)

Congrats to all for all those Awesome 2019 Accomplishments.

Best recovery wishes to all that suffered setbacks in 2019

Lets get after if in 2020!

Lets Get After it in a New Decade!

    How does 2019 stack up????

from a numbers perspective, they are down. Distance, elevation were all a bit lower.

Not sure I’ll get out today or tomorrow...as I don’t like the wind.

    Currently sitting at:
    210 ride days
    596,289’
    4140 miles

so for the 6th straight year I have bypassed 4000 miles.

big difference with this year is after May, my number of big rides dwindled. I did a lot more shorter rides.

I did 3 travel trips this year including St. George in March for True Grit, Kokopelli in May and another St. George trip earlier this month.

got to meet some of the other members that I still hadn’t ridden with. Got a few extra opportunities to ride with those that I have met in the past.

great group rides at Skyline and Cannell Plunge. Awesome ride at WW50. Knocking out Kokopelli with the guys.

@horsebikerider getting hooked on the SS.

2 Palm Canyon rides, a trip to Cuyamaca, night time assault on Wrightwood.

some bumps and bruises along the way.

    all in all....I’d consider 2019 a success.

Think I'll get one more ride in before the year end but probably not today with the wind.

Super happy with 2019. First and foremost I stayed healthy with no lost time injuries and didn't have to haul any of my buddies to the ER either:thumbsup:. Rode my bike a total of 326 times:D. Tons of riding with great buds and many new friends along the way. Lots of epic rides with quite a bit of new dirt, gate hoping adventures and a couple great road trips...

I went in to 2019 with a goal in mind. Came close but didn't quit reach it. Up till about October I was well on track but then the wheels fell off the bus. I could make excuses about weather/work/family etc but truth be told I started losing motivation. I've always ridden my bike for fun & fitness so no more number chasing for me.

    Strava says...

And thanks for the veloviewer reminder @pperrelle. I paid last year and forgot about it. There's tons of info there that no other app gives you.
