Interesting Whistler stats...

So I'm not really a "park guy" per se just due to age and geography if nothing else and have only ridden a full blown DH bike one day (not a fan) but I found several of these numbers pretty interesting. Pinkbike does this non-scientific survey every year on Opening Day at Whistler. I was surprised to see so many park and DH guys clipped in, SRAM brakes (Code & Guides) were #1 & 2 and the amount of GX derailleurs crushed all others. Check it out....

Nearly 50% Maxxis Mini0n DHF on the front. Wowza! The other 15 makes and models represented made up the other half.

99% of DH racers clip in for racing DH, so 34% presence at the park doesn't surprise me.

 

Cool stats. They are all wrong if they don't run on their bikes what I run on my bikes...

And I didn't see any Speedplay Frogs.
