SnakeCharmer’s Snake Rescue Service recieved an emergency call this morning of a snake in a yard. A photo was sent and a positive ID was made, a Southern Pacific Rattlesnake. Snake left immediately to resolve the issue. Upon arriving, the rattlesnake was in a calm mood which made collecting it an easy chore. It was promptly lifted into a bucket and removed. It will be moved into the hills above where it came into civilization, and then released. Snakes are people, too...

 

This place better pick up soon, or I’m going back to the MTB hotties thread (the good one) and posting more photos!

 

I think there are those that were officially offended because the combo of a few beers and my absolute had enough of politics on the site rant.

I have a meeting with my City in 20 minutes. If it goes well, I'm going to go for a ride this evening in pursuit of a Strava KOM through The Wash, which is a short sprint segment of little technicality but requires a lot of watts. If the meeting does not go well, oh well, I'm still going to chase that KOM. It's ok; its only Strava. I'm going to wait until after sunset so I don't plow into or get obstructed by other trail users. I will have a Green Bike and a Green Jersey...but not THE Green Jersey. Still, I will pretend I am Peter Sagan. Go Sagan! "Go Sagan" my wife would say during Le Tour. It's ok...it's only Strava, and I'm pumped! I think it may be my anticipation for the meeting talking here.

 

You should Strava the meeting so you can see how many (Mike) watts you are putting out!

 

Ha! For some things I do, Strava would place me dead last.
