Maybe I missed it elsewhere on the site, but today is the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing. Something to celebrate. Also something to kick us in the collective arse and ask why we've gone backward since. Thank (insert favored deity) the SpaceXes and such are stepping up.

 

We have lost channels 2 (CBS) and 9 (KCAL). I know they are under one owner so I guess I am not surprised to see both gone.

Anyone else lose them?

 

Lost. Not missed. Very, very close to cutting the cable (satellite).

I might look at the TV once every couple weeks. The wife has to have the throat slasher shows.

 

Pulled into a parking lot and parked in one of the only open spaces. Right next to a full size black dual cab 4x4 pick up truck. I'm chillin' in the car ( a little Sentra) doing some emails for work on the phone. Guy comes toward the truck with a dog, see me and decides to go around the other side to let the dog into the cab. Come back around opens his driver door and says in an aggressive tone; " Don't park next to big black trucks, we need the room ". Like WTF?

I still get them over the air. Digital and free!

Without channel 2, there is no Judge Judy. Or, is there?

 

With the Amazon Fire stick you’d be able to watch all the Judge Judy you’d want via YouTube app. If your tv is a smart tv you can do the same with most.

 

I have access to just about every TV channel, and every movie ever made... I prefer to leave the TV off and ponder the depth of the black screen. Unless the Angels are on.

Parking lots are not designed for full-size trucks. Can’t handle getting the shite beat out of yours in SoCal parking lots? Don’t buy one. And if you do, don’t be a dick. Seems simple enough, but truck owners generally aren’t the intellectual pillars of society. And I own a truck!

We leave the OC fair just after 11pm and that takes away one of our routes home to Alhambra.
