Bring this back on track.....the only rush I like is the adrenaline kind that I get when ride my bike.

So, since I haven't actually been paying attention to the club stuff - I voluntarily dropped it. I also didn't want to bore/freak out the denizens of said club with my garage sessions on Zwift.

Some of us have scruples, dammit!!! You're welcome.

my 10597 ft. wouldn't get me to the podium of the leader board....... disappointing.
It was my biggest week since Sept 2018.
Back to work (literally and figuratively).

Strava question for the experts: My activities with other people aren't showing them. I'm just posting solo rides, even though there are one, two, or more people using Strava with me. Their rides are showing up with everyone else.

I'm feeling alone and excluded, am I being cyber-bullied????

 

Using your phone?

 

Check your settings under "Privacy Controls."

 

Under Settings.....

Go to Privacy Controls

Under Group Activities....click on Everyone.

Thanks! I just checked and the Everyone button is checked. In fact Everyone is the default for all four options (Profile, Activities, Group, Flyby).
This is something new that started last week, and I haven't changed anything (that I know of).

 

Check for an update on the app.

 

Looks like there was an App update 6 days ago.

v. 129.0.0

 

I'm running 129.10... went ahead and uninstalled and re-installed, but that is the most recent.
The weird acting up started about six days ago though...

That's just one example, the couple rides with my daughter didn't show, and the one at Noble Cyn Sunday didn't.

Turn your phone off and reboot it.

 

Perhaps the other 2 you rode with didn't have their Privacy Setting correct?

I restarted the phone and there was a system update, maybe that will do it! Will report back with my findings at a later date!

 

Did you actually ride with your buddies or just the same route? According to the fly-by, you started a little late and by the end of the ride they were miles ahead of you. Not close enough for Strava to recognize you rode together.

 

No, we were together the full ride. So the fact that we weren't showing up the same is really weird... I just watched the fly by, and it's totally inaccurate. So Strava is saying we didn't ride together, because the timing is off or something.

I just checked Sunday's, and it looks like I'm 15 to 18 minutes behind my friend David. But We were pretty much a wheel apart for most of it???

Well then all you have to do is ride 15 - 18 minutes ahead of your friends and then you'll be on the same ride! Boom, problem solved.

 

That's why I come here for the answers to all of life's mysteries!!! Solved!

 

Re-installed the app, and re-started the phone... may be back in business and no longer socially excluded! Will need to do a couple more rides to find out!
