Icons in iOS 8.1.1 cause error when posting

As a former Amazon Associate I continue to get screwed trying to stay qualified as an Amazon Affiliate. So I quit!

    I'm talking about the icons which now show up as part of your keyboard on iPad. They produce an error when trying to post in a forum thread, in both quick-reply and full-editor modes.

    I haven't uploaded 8.1.2 yet; maybe they sneaked in a fix?

    Thanks mike. Cathy got me an Air Pad II for Christmas and I have not had this happen yet.
    Will try to duplicate it and look for patches.
