Funny, I am the same way. I always look at the garage threads on MTBR. Maybe we need one here. Here’s the rest of the work area. We just moved into this house in July so I had a clean slate to start from.

Congrats. Can't wait to see it built up.

I just pulled the trigger on a blue Ripmo for my wife. Happy wife. Happy life. We pick it up this weekend. Got lucky and found one in stock at Cal Coast Bicycles. Otherwise wait times are end of November right now. But of course you know how hard the Ripmos are to find still.

I didn’t realize you weren’t keeping the Ripley as well.

Give Mike Franze a call at Fullerton Bikes and see what he can do/tell you. Best guy out there, Top 5 for sure!

The plan is to keep it. I'll build it back up with an XT 11 speed drivetrain that I already have. I just need a wheelset and it'll be ready to roll.

She’s coming together. Sadly I had to stop the build and start working. Should be able to wrap it up this afternoon and take it for a ride tomorrow.

I have extra spacers if you want to add even more on that steerer tube :D

LOL, I always start long and trim or move spacers as needed. You can always cut more but there's no way to add anything back.

I had planned to keep my Ripley too, but after last weekend's 29 mi / 5500' XC day I feel the Ripmo can do what I need it to do. I'm gonna sell the Ripley to free up some cash for the next bike. :)

She’s alive. Pretty easy build. Ibis went with full interior tubes for the cable routing which made it super easy. I only had to use the cable pull for the rear brake routing. Looking forward to getting it dirty tomorrow. Weighed 28 pounds, 4 ounces with bottle cage and pedals.

I wish the build on my Kona had gone that quickly. Looks like fun waiting to be had.

Lookin' good. I bet you can't wait to get her dirty.

That's pretty light for a Ripmo. Most are in the 30+ lb ballpark.
