Excellent! Depending where you all are riding, it could be toasty, so keep the hydration flowing.

Your Smash is ideal to run the Wolftooth double bottle adapter and doesn't require the extension adapter for clearance.

Super light work with @DangerDirtyD. Not a lot of elevation and not even 10 miles but the sun got extra strong around 11. Solid little trail here - I needed to ride my bike!

Did a quick pre-work ride and managed to beat the heat. So lucky to have these trails right behind my house!

I got out today and rode up Maple Springs. My truck temp read 92 but there was a nice breeze so I didn't feel like I was cooking. I felt just fine on the climb and took breaks in the shadows of the trees. I came across this pretty snake and started counting the colors.. red meets yellow dangerous fellow. He's ok. I climbed to the top and took a couple of token pics. I didn't see anybody up there. The Motorway was calling me but I didn't have that on my mind to do. I had the mountain to myself ( and a couple of hundred gnats ). Oh the joy of ripping down the mountain and jumping the jumps knowing there is no one out there...I headed back down the mountain and couldn't be happier until the first couple of turns... marbles with my Ardent race tires. Carving the turns sliding and braking. Nothing happened. I'm thinking I should be running a DHF tire but this wheelset were the ones I intended to run in Kokopelli and had been set up and put aside for the day to be put into service. Since Kokopelli was canceled I decided to roll on them today. I really like descending Maple Springs from 4 corners- its a single lane road with small jumps. 16 mi/ 2,796 elevation

You never know what kind of reaction you're going to get when you suggest a 5:30 roll time... :D

One with no gears, and one with no suspension.

Shitty Views. I think @rossage was apologizing at this point that the ride sucked so bad...

Another excellent day on Strawberry. Excellent Moon setting while the Sun was rising. And the dawn light on Strawberry is phenomenal.

The FEX lost a pivot nut last ride out and I am waiting for the part to arrive. Also, I do not have what I need to complete the hardtail frame build project.

    Therefore, I am currently bikeless..

Short, hot, but super fun day on the bike. Went back to White Horse Canyon via Sherwood Forest, and am getting my bearings and solidifying good routes. After today I think I'm good to tackle Space Mountain/Rosewood again and tie them into WHC for a really solid and fun 20+ route. After being on the DV9 a lot, the grind out of Sherwood on The Smash with the new DHF/Aggressor combo was just that, but grinding aside the bike really came back alive for me with that that tire combo. It felt like home today, and I felt good saddling up to the one descent that I walked last time. Some Tri-slide helped a lot with hot spot the brace was rubbing on the back of my leg, and the brace itself is a godsend for getting back to stuff. Finished with Mr. Toads, which was my first good romp down some rowdy-light downhill chunk. I thought I was taking it easy, but the Strava gods say it was my second fastest run on a section I've hit a ton. Score card says 10.4, 1733, 2 hikers, 3 mountain bikers, 3 ebikers, and 1 dirt serpent (big gopher).
